Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary was founded in 1944 and has five physical campuses in the western USA: Northern and Southern California, the Portland area of the Pacific Northwest, Denver, Colorado and Phoenix, Arizona. As a theological graduate school, Golden Gate is accredited by the Association of Theological Schools in the US and Canada and by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. Golden Gate graduates have been accepted into many of the best theological doctoral programs in the US and many alumni serve in major churches and denomination leadership positions throughout the western US and Pacific Rim.
